Redevelopment of the iconic “Palazzo delle Scintille” on request from the Comune di Milano, to create a multipurpose cultural and entertainment venue in Milan's CityLife District.
Development of an integrated 'cultural theme park' considering exhibits, resident theatre, an immersive attraction, educational spaces, food & beverage, playground and retail spaces, and rich public spaces.
While never approved, the project caused great impact on the development of the CityLife region and the vision for the area, and has been kept as an important benchmark for its rich conceptual and design approach.
To justify the significant upfront investment a sophisticated capex & opex model of the project was developed, informed by detailed audience benchmarking for footfall and pricing.
